The word from the coach is that there are no changes to the side this week. Despite having Grigg and Walker both available, Ratts is reluctant to break last game's "winning formula".

Two major changes to the side this week; Paul Bower and Ryan Houlihan both return to the side. Houlihan comes back following a strong game in the Ants' side last week which saw us walk away as 8-point victors. He has come close to returning to the side a few times thing year, only to be kept out by a hip injury. Bower too played with the Ants last ( Read more... )

This week Adam Bentick, Eddie Betts and Paul Bower have been named in the side. Both Betts and Bower have returned from injury. Last week Eddie was named in the side but was a late withdrawal right before the commencement of the match as he had not yet proven to the Carlton doctors that he was fit enough to play. This week could have started off as a dismal one for us, with Browne being offered 4 weeks for his collision with Porplyzia. It was, of course, contested and he was, of course, let off. The word from the club this week is that Bannister will miss the rest of the season. Jordan has been kept out since round 5 by a cyst behind his knee and a damaged hamstring, at times making a close to full recovery, but never enough to play. Five news players are joining the squad this week; First and foremost, Walker is back. He's been playing in the Bullants' squad for the last three weeks, the first footy he's seen since the shoulder injury which took him out in our final pre-season game.
